Let's Go Stargazing Tonight!

Tonight, Change the way you see the night sky forever!
and you just might shout out loud "WTF was that"

What is Dark Adaptation Stargazing?

The main goal of astronomy is to see as much as possible in the dark, but this requires a few special steps. One of the most important is to avoid bright sunlight, which will hinder dark adaptation. Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes. Then, you can spend more time stargazing. After you've adapted, you'll be rewarded with better views and more details. Here are some tips for optimal stargazing.

Light-adapted vision means that your eye can detect faint objects in the dark. During stargazing, your eyes will recover to their natural state after a short time in bright light. However, this process can be stopped or slowed down if you expose your eyes to bright light for too long. For the best results, dark-adapted eyes should be kept in a quiet location. After a few minutes, the eye will return to the dark-adapted state.   Browse around this site

After being exposed to bright light, your eyes will begin to recover their sensitivity. Your eyes will be better able to distinguish faint objects than a dark-adapted eye. As a result, dark-adapted eyes are better able to see faint objects. And since the retina is so sensitive to light, stargazing is a fun activity that will keep your eyes healthy and happy. If you're new to stargazing, you should try these tips.

Your eyes adjust to low light conditions by increasing their sensitivity. Your eyes adapt to the dark by dilating the pupil. Your pupils will become wider and bigger in order to detect fainter objects. As a result, stargazing will become more effective. And, once you're fully dark-adapted, you can enjoy your favorite stargazing activities. It's also a good way to improve your nighttime vision.

When you are exposed to bright light, your eyes adapt to the new light conditions. This is a process that takes up to 40 minutes. Once you've fully adapted, you can observe fainter objects. After you have adapted to darkness, you can also enjoy the many benefits of stargazing. You'll be able to observe more faint objects and see more clearly. It will also improve your night vision.

Proper dark adaptation is important for visual astronomy. It's the process in which your eyes adapt to the darkness. When you're stargazing in the dark, your eyes adapt to the darkness by increasing the amount of rhodopsin in your retina. This allows your eyes to adjust better to dark. For optimum stargazing, it's best to avoid bright light and bright sunlight.

The light that you see can make you a stargazer. A telescope's a powerful tool for observing the night sky. It will allow you to observe stars that might otherwise be impossible to see without it. But it also limits your ability to see brighter stars. That's why it's important to find a good nightlight before you go out in the dark. For the best viewing experience, you'll need a powerful telescope.   Learn more

A sampling of our reviews:

Truly enjoyed our stargazing experience.

My brother and I were visiting Joshua Tree for the weekend and truly enjoyed our stargazing experience. Tony did an excellent job educating us about stargazing and how to describe our finds. He provided blankets, chairs, and equipment. The military night vision provided an amazing view into what the stars must have looked like to gazers hundreds of years ago. We left our experience with the knowledge necessary to gaze at the skies on the future. Bonus: we got to create some amazing light pictures in the darkness of our stargazing locale.

This was a wonderful experience to truly see the stars!

I have been looking at the sky since I was a little girl and living in the city didn’t provide the darkness needed to see the magnificence of the sky and all it has to offer. I was awestruck when I looked into the high tech scopes that Molli and Tony provided. I could see so much; galaxies, satellites, star clusters, flying objects we could not identify(UFOs) , Shooting stars! At the end, Tony & Molli provided cool opportunities for photos like light painting and long exposure to catch the scenic sky behind you. It was fantastic!

Learnt how to view our milky way through the multitude of perspectives which Tony introduced from multiple dimensions. Felt like spending the entire night with him and learn the wonders of

I recommend a star gazing session with Tony and Molly when you are in Sedona. You just cannot miss it.

We had a fantastic time with Molli and Tony.

they were very knowledgeable and had many fun stories to tell regarding the stars, constellations and history in general. They had night vision goggles and binoculars that were extremely helpful in viewing all the different stars. We also got the opportunity to play with some long exposure camera settings and make some fun light photos. I would highly recommend this tour/adventure for anyone who loves to learn new things and loves spending time outside and in nature!

This was the perfect activity for our family!

We are from Los Angeles, so we definitely can’t get an experience like this where we live. Tony and Molli were so friendly, knowledgeable and easy-going. We spent over an hour learning, watching, discovering using their equipment and with their Tony and Molli’s guidance. Thanks for enriching our stay in Joshua Tree in such a unique way!

This experience exceeded expectations!

Molli and Tony are incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history and wonders of the night sky! It was a fantastic opportunity to learn from folks who are passionate about what they do, and to use tools that we would otherwise not have access to. They were patient with questions, made sure we were comfortable and warm on a cool evening, and even sent us away with beautiful keepsakes. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off our visit to Joshua Tree, and will definitely book with them again next time we’re in town.

I had a wondrous experience!

Tony was very accommodating. He offered detailed insight starting from the equipment we used, all the way to the origination of astrology. Both factual and mythical aspects were embraced. Tony and Molli offer a valuable experience for adventurous individuals, as well as families! Thanks again!!

Tony’s passion and knowledge of the cosmos is absolutely contagious! What an amazing experience. My wife and I had the best time and through the use of high tech night vision binoculars we were able to see and experience the beauty of our galaxy like no other. Would highly recommend this special tour to anyone wether or not you consider yourself a star gazer. We will definitely be back :)

This was an amazing experience!

We went as a group of five people and this blew away our expectations. Molli and Tony were extremely knowledgeable about the cosmos, friendly, fun and provided interesting facts about various stars and planets that we didn't know.

They have some very high end equipment that we were able to use, which enabled us to see stars and planets like we've never seen before. The night vision goggles and the heat energy vision were absolutely amazing.

To top it off they gave us each free commemorative T-shirts and we got to do a special light bending photo together which was awesome. We highly recommend this experience and we look forward to coming back again in the future!
